Underdog Fantasy in South Dakota

---

Underdog Fantasy is a daily fantasy platform built around two main formats: pick'em, where you build an entry by choosing whether each selected player will finish above or below a projected stat line, and best ball, where you draft a roster once and your top scorers count automatically. For South Dakota residents, paid fantasy contests are a legal way to play for real prizes from anywhere in the state, with a minimum age of 18.

How DFS Works

Daily fantasy contests are scored on the real-world performance of the athletes you select. Instead of following a full season, most contests settle over a single slate of games. You build a lineup or an entry, the contest locks when the games begin, and your result depends on how your chosen players actually perform. Payouts go to entries that meet or beat the contest's scoring threshold.

Underdog's Contests

• Pick'em: choose a small group of players and decide whether each will finish above or below a projected stat line. Entries that get every selection correct earn the largest payouts, and some contests offer partial payouts on near misses.
• Best ball: draft a full roster before the slate or season, then let the platform automatically start your highest scorers. There is no in-week lineup management, so best ball rewards the draft itself.

Getting Started on Underdog

1. Create an Underdog account.
2. Verify your identity and confirm you are at least 18.
3. Add funds to your account.
4. Choose a contest and build your entry before it locks.

Eligibility, minimum age, and availability depend on your state. Underdog confirms which contest types are open to you when you sign up, and the rules can change as states update their fantasy regulations.
